Our organisation

Copacabana Community Men’s Shed Incorporated (CCMS) is a not-for-profit association registered with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. It is also registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, and has been endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient by the Australian Tax Office. It is also a member of the Australian Men’s Shed Association.

CCMS is governed by a constitution that may be viewed here. Its Management Committee currently consists of the following Copa residents:

• Garron Buttress-Grove, Secretary
• Terry Liddicoat, Treasurer
• Ian Lord, Community Liaison Officer
• Nic Eames, Shed Operations Officer
• George Munro, Safety Officer
• Fraser McBride, Social Officer

This committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting, which generally takes place in September.

Shed membership is open to men aged 18 years or more without restriction.
